Traffic congestion forecast and request for use of public transportation due to the 48-hour closure of the Metropolitan Expressway No. 1 Haneda Line (southbound).
The southbound lane of the Metropolitan Expressway Route 1 Haneda Line will be closed to traffic for two days, from 0:00 (Sat) May 9th to (Sun) Sunday, May 10th, due to renovation work.
During the road closure period, traffic congestion worse than usual is expected on the Metropolitan Expressway and on general roads surrounding the closed section. Therefore, those using Haneda Airport are requested to consider using Train & Monorail whenever possible.
